As you may be aware, I recently formed 'The Cantorial Society', an organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of chazznus.
On January 14th, Motzei Shabbos, we will present the first of a series of monthly 'salons' where a prominent cantor will be featured.
For the first salon you will have the opportunity to spend the evening with Cantor Yaakov Motzen accompanied by Cantor Danny Gildar. I will also use this opportunity to present 'new' cantorial talent.
The venue for the first salon will be in mid-town Manhattan (street parking readily available on Saturday night).
Details for the purchase of tickets will be forthcoming.
There is a total of 90 seats for the event. Note: there are about 50 seats available.
To guarantee attendance and receive details, register your interest by emailing to: cantorialsociety@aol.com
Cell phone: +1908 217 1358
(My thanks to Mark Goldberg who encouraged me to undertake this venture. Three salons are planned as a first stage, and if successful may continue for many more sessions. The project is in honor of Mark's father, Arthur Goldberg - "Arthur Goldberg Memorial Cantorial Salon Series".)
